Her book \u201cFluchtpunkt Film\u201d was shortlisted for the Opus Primum \u2013 prize by The Volkswagen Foundation 2017. She has worked for research institutes and museums alike, among them the German Historical Museum, Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans Bredow Institute (HBI), the Federal Chancellor Willy Brandt Foundation and the Neuengamme Concentration Camp Memorial. Since May 2019, Alina is postdoctoral researcher at HafenCity University Hamburg and coordinator of the Pleasurescapes-project.
