Educated at Sciences Po, she obtained her PhD in 2014 at Humboldt University with a dissertation on constitutional change and education reform in late nineteenth century France, Belgium and England. She held postdoc-positions at the Centre Marc Bloch (Berlin), the University of Marburg, the Institute for European History (Mainz), and at the University of Gothenburg. Since September 2019, Christina is a postdoctoral researcher at Stockholm University within the Pleasurescapes-project.
